   Engineered by Lumenyte International Corporation in accordance with U.S. Navy Naval Facilities Engineering Service Center (NFESC) specifications, the Truck Security Illumination Mat System™ (T-SIMS™) utilizes the same field tested technology used in the original Security Illumination Mat System™ (SIMS™). This version has been upgraded, lengthened to 27 feet and durable enough to withstand the abuse that large trucks can inflict. While the standard SIMS is still an excellent choice for light duty vehicle inspection applications, the Truck Security Illumination Mat System™ (T-SIMS™) is designed for use in areas requiring inspection of larger, heavier vehicles such as tractor-trailer rigs. The system is designed to be portable and can be deployed virtually anywhere with a set-up time of less than one hour. The Truck Security Illumination Mat System™ (T-SIMS™) is capable of operating 24 hours a day in all weather conditions.

   Proper lighting is the key to effective under vehicle inspection. However, the lighting needed to perform these inspections poses some unique problems. High intensity area or spot lighting produces glare and deep shadows that can mask suspicious items. Flashlights, floodlights and ambient daylight all share this problem. The Truck Security Illumination Mat System™ (T-SIMS™) uses fiber optic technology to produce a soft, uniform, no-glare light devoid of obscuring shadows.

     For smaller vehicles Lumenyte has produced the Security Illumination Mat System™ (SIMS™). This version is designed to be portable, install in 25 minutes and Fuel, oil and solvent resistant.
